What happens if I forget my password?

Go to the home page and click on the login button, then click the Forgot Your Password? link. You will have to enter your username and email address and your password will be reset to a random password and sent to your email address. You can then login in again with the password that's in the email. Then you can change your password to something easier to remember by logging in and clicking on the Change Password link. You should know that if you enter the wrong password more than three times you will not be allowed to login for 24 hours. We do this for security reasons. If this should happen just use the Forgot Your Password? link to reset your password and you'll be able to login again with your new password.

How can I store my password so that I don't have to type it in every time I login?

This cannot be done, but you can choose to stay logged into until you manually log out. While you are loggedin, you will not be prompted for your password again. To do this, provice your username and password, then check the checkbox next to Remember Me Next Time before you click the Log In button. You will have to activate and access this feature from on the same computer. This is not recommended on publicly shared computers.

You will need to remove that club by logging in and clicking on Edit/Finalize Current Log. Then click the checkbox next to the club that you need to remove and click Remove Selected at the bottom of the page. Then confirm your choice by clicking Remove Selected again on the next page. You will then need to re-enter the correct club by clicking on Search and Add . Enter in the correct club type, manufacturer, shaft material, and condition and click Show Clubs . Then click on the checkbox next to the club and a checkmark will show up inside the box. Then click Add Selected . You will then be brought to another page where you will confirm your trade-in. Change the number of irons or click the headcover box, if applicable, and then you will click Add to Log Sheet. This will add the correct golf club trade-in to your monthly log sheet.

What if a club falls right between two condition categories?

If a club falls between two condition categories and you are unsure of which condition you should enter it under, you should always choose the lower category. This way if you're wrong about the club's condition you will never lose money and can only gain money.

When will I get paid for all my trade-ins?

You will receive one check every month. The payment process will begin as soon as you finalize your monthly log sheet. We will mail out your check within 1-3 days after you finalize your log sheet. We only tell you three days if there's a problem, most checks go out the day after you finalize. We will try to get your payment to you as fast as possible so that you can ship out all your trade-ins as fast as possible.

How do I search for a club's trade-in price?

You will need to click on Search and Add, from the home page or from the members section. Then you will have to enter in the trade-in's club type, manufacturer, shaft material, and condition. A list of clubs will be shown that meets the criteria that you just entered. The trade-in value of the club will be shown right next to the golf club.

Does it matter if the customer has a headcover for their trade-in?

Yes, this does matter. A headcover is expected for all Drivers and Fairway Woods. It is also expected for all hybrids and putters unless you are positive that the club never came with a headcover when bought new. You should evaluate the club's condition as normal and if a headcover is not included the club must be entered into the next lower condition category. All clubs in excellent condition are required to have a headcover. All clubs in excellent condition without a headcover are to be entered into the good condition category. All clubs in good condition without a headcover are to be entered into the fair condition category. If a club falls into the fair condition category, a headcover is still expected if the customer can provide you with one. This rule obviously does not apply for iron sets and wedges.

How do I find the price of a set of irons with more or less than 8 clubs?

You must first search for the iron set as you normally would by using our Search and Add link. Enter in all the iron set's information and click Show Clubs. Once the iron set is found click on the checkbox next to it and click add selected. On the next page you will be able to change the number of irons to a number between 6 and 12. Once you change this number the price will automatically be updated to compensate for the different number of irons.

How do I take a trade-in from a customer and add it to our monthly log sheet?

You must first ask the customer to give you the club(s) so that you can inspect it for any damage and evaluate its condition. Don't forget to ask them for a headcover so that you can take it into account when evaluating its condition. Then you need to login from the Second Chance Golf Clubs home page. Once you login, click on the Search and Add link. This is where you will enter the club type, manufacturer, shaft material, and condition. Then click Show Clubs . This will bring up a list of all clubs that meet the criteria you just entered. Once you find the club you will see its trade-in value next to it. At this point you can tell your customer the corresponding value of their club(s) unless they have an iron set that doesn't have 8 irons. If they decide to trade in their club(s) you can add the club to your monthly log sheet. Simply click on the checkbox next to the club and a checkmark will show up inside the box. Then click Add Selected . You will then be brought to another page where you will confirm your trade-in. If you are looking up an iron set that has more or less than 8 irons you must change the number of irons to see the new price of the iron set. The default number is set to 8, if you have to change this number the price will automatically update so that you can relay this new price to your customer. If you are entering a wood or putter that comes with a headcover, you will need to click on the headcover box to place a checkmark in it. Then you will click Add to Log Sheet. This will add your new trade-in to your monthly log sheet where it is saved. You can then exit your web browser.

Why does it say "Warning: Page Expired" when I click the back button on my web browser?

In many cases, this website requires information to be carried from one page to another. When you use the back button in your internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer or Netscape), the information needed during these page-to-page transitions is erased for security reasons, making the page invalid. When the website does not provide you with a back button, do not use your internet browser's back button. Should you encounted an expired page, simply use your browser to refresh it. For the best results, you should only use the links provided by the website to navigate.

When I searched for a popular club with an exotic shaft, I did not get any results. Why?

This usually means that the prices for that club with an exotic graphite shaft are the same as the prices for that club with a stock graphite shaft. You must go search again and enter stock graphite as the shaft material and you will more than likely get results. Only the most recent woods will have exotic graphite shaft prices.

When is the best time to finalize each month's log sheet?

The best time to finalize each month's log sheet is on the night of the last day of the month. We strongly urge you to try to finalize your log sheets on the last day of the month. If you can't, whether its because the last day falls on a weekend or some other reason, we will be somewhat lenient. If you have a choice we would rather you finalize your log sheet a little early than a little late. We will allow you to finalize your log sheets 2 days before or after the last day of the month. If you must stray more than 2 days away you must let us know, especially if you are planning on finalizing more than 2 days after the last day of the month. You can opt to have an email reminder sent to you so that you don't forget to finalize your log sheet. To do this, just login and click on email reminders and place a checkmark in the corresponding box.

What if I finalize this month's log sheet before the end of the month?

If you must, we let you finalize your monthly log sheet a little early. Any clubs that you take in on trade after you finalize your current month's log sheet will be added to your next month's log sheet. So if you finalize your current log sheet on the 28th , all clubs taken in between the 29th and 31st will count towards your next month's log sheet. The new month will begin on the 28th right after you finalize your log sheet. So the basic rule is that each month begins right after you finalize the previous month's log sheet regardless of the date. You will not be able to finalize your log sheet more than once in any given month to prevent any confusion.

What if I finalize this month's log sheet after the end of the month?

We discourage finalizing your log sheet after the last day of the month but we will allow it under certain circumstances. You must inform us if you need to finalize your log sheet after the last day of the month. Any clubs that you take in on trade will be added to your current log sheet until you finalize it. So if you finalize it on the 4 th , all clubs taken in between the 1 st and 3 rd will be added to the previous month's log sheet. The new month will begin on the 4 th right after you finalize your log sheet. So each month begins right after you finalize the previous month's log sheet regardless of the date.
